For one cook · delivered every Sunday

Sunday meal plan, scaled for one.

Every Sunday morning we send five single-portion recipes and a single shopping list. Ingredients carry across the week, one $50 grocery run is enough, and last night’s leftovers don’t make it in.

A single-portion roast chicken dinner with vegetables and roast potatoes

Why one is a lot

The kitchen isn’t built for this many singletons.

30%

US adults live alone

The portion planners rarely write for.

42%

UK households are single

The default recipe card still assumes two.

48%

more per head

Solo diners already spend than group ones — at restaurants.

What you get

A weekly plan that was already run for one cook, in one kitchen.

Singfork is opinionated. The rules below aren’t toggles — they’re how every week is built before the email goes out.

A row of three single-portion dinner plates

01 · Leftover math

Portions are designed to one — not to four, halved.

A "serves 2" recipe cut in half still buys two onions, leaves half a head of cabbage, and pulls you back to the store on Wednesday. Singfork plans the week so every ingredient gets finished. If it doesn't, it's edited out before the email goes out.

02 · The list

One shopping list, not seven.

A consolidated list engineered so one $50 grocery run covers the week. Carryover is labeled so the lemons in Monday are still good on Sunday.

03 · The swap

Tuned to your week, not the calendar.

Going out Friday? Mark it on Sunday and the list reassigns those servings to the rest of the week. Vegetarian, pescatarian, low-fodmap plan variants come standard.

A cozy one-person kitchen with a single plate set at a small table

04 · The voice

Hand-curated by a real cook. No generative recipes.

Singfork is not a meal-planning chat bot. Five recipes per week, picked by a cook, tested in a single-person kitchen, costed against the basket.

How it works

One email. One trip. Five dinners.

  1. 01
    Sunday, 7 a.m.

The week lands in your inbox — five recipes and a single consolidated list.

  2. 02
    Sunday, your store

One grocery trip. The list is engineered to come in at or under $50.

  3. 03
    Monday → Thursday

Single portions. Carryover ingredients are pre-labeled so nothing spoils.

  4. 04
    Friday onward

Mark a meal out, swap a vegetarian recipe in, or skip the rest — the list adjusts.

Two totally different things. Singfork charges $5/week for the plan, recipes, and shopping list. Your $50 is what you spend at the supermarket on the groceries in the list. Net weekly cost = $5 to Singfork + ~$50 at the store.
